THE CREATIVE RETREAT

A place-based creative retreat for women

Imagine waking each morning in the same beautiful place. No packing, no moving on, no rushing to the next destination.

The Creative Retreat is an invitation to slow down. For seven nights we'll make ourselves at home in one inspiring corner of Japan, allowing creativity, culture and connection to unfold naturally.

Instead of trying to see everything, we'll stay long enough to notice the small things. Our days will be shaped by creative workshops, shared meals, gentle exploration and unhurried moments that invite curiosity, reflection and inspiration.

LOCATION

Choosing the Right Place

We are currently exploring several beautiful locations for our inaugural Creative Retreat. Our November 2026 research trip will help us select a place that best reflects the spirit of Draw Closer: somewhere peaceful, inspiring and deeply connected to Japanese culture.

We're currently leaning towards the Kyoto region, but we'll announce the final location once we've found the place that feels exactly right.
